About me
I am defined by my dedication to justice and the work ethic I bring to the pursuit of it.
My focus in my high school career has been fixed on social issues and projects, as well as developing a variety of skills and experience through specialized study, independent learning, extracurricular clubs, early college courses, and community service.
Interests
Social Justice
I believe in creating a world that is a little better than it was when we entered it. Whether it’s eradicating discrimination or ensuring a livable climate, I know it’s my duty to do what’s within my power.
Family Law
Domestic violence is a subject that matters very much to my family. Helping survivors and their children find safety in spite of court systems that don’t always recognize their struggles is a personal passion I hope to pursue.
Technology
My 4+ years of experience with coding, Java, SQL, and HTML are just the start of my computer science studies. I’ll continue to develop these skills in service of reaching as many as possible with the projects I pursue.
One of the best things that came out of my 2018 political campaign was meeting Gianna Molini. Gianna generously and articulately discussed her concerns as a student who deals with the threat of gun violence. She was an organizer and panelist for a discussion about the subject following the Parkland tragedy.
